I've been busy creating for a long while now in preparation for the upcoming craft sale season and said season is almost here! I still have much to do, but since this is my 1st year at it, I am unsure of how much product I actually need going into each of the sales. So, I'm just flying by the seat of my pants.
There has been so much preparation in addition to the actual creating. The logo design (which an amazing friend of mine, Jay, did on trade for a Motion Painting - don't you just love it!). There is the biz cards, the signage, the branding, the designing and printing, the photo taking, set-up on Etsy, the craft sale bookings, the research, research and more research. And, of course, the purchasing of ALL the raw materials. It really makes me quite anxious. All this preparation to make sales and hopefully be a success....into the dark unknown we go! But, as my Dad inscribed on the back of a painting he did for me long ago, "Believe in yourself and you can do anything you set your mind to." Thanks Dad. Wish you were here to talk to now.
